Anyone know if you would get in trouble if you kayaked out to crab bank and wadded around in the water? I like to get out of my kayak sometimes and fish walking around. Anyone ever get out of their kayak and have gotten in trouble for it?

IMHO and not trying to be a jerk at all: if you know you aren’t supposed to do something, you shouldn’t do it whether you might get in trouble for it or not. It opens up on October 16th, which isn’t that far away, and then you can walk around all you want. For now its a sanctuary for the birds. It’s important to their survival and breeding for future generations that you give them the space they need.
Can’t walk above the high tide line. On crab, bird key, or deveax(sp) all are SCDNR coastal bird sanctuaries
