How’s the shrimp out there? Went out last week and struggled a bit, thinking about making another trip.
I went Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours, caught a 1/4 cooler of smaller shrimp. The bigger ones that were there a few weeks ago have moved on.

Went tonight 10/17 ended up with 1/3 cooler of nice shrimp with very few smaller. We had some issues, right after putting out bait we got a least a 4 foot wave from ship. Water went over bow twice on 196 Key West, we were in 3 feet of water and I sure it moved some bait around. Even with that we were getting descent numbers on first 3 runs and then Flipper moved in and numbers went to hel!
Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it!
Yeh same thing went out last night and alot of ship traffic causing waves on top of the windy condition to start with. The first 3 runs were great with alot of large but then they just turned off like a light switch. We ended up with 1/3 also and flipper seemed like he was all over the poles.
