Hey any of you guys know what the name is of the cord that is used for tying the bodies of the crab patterns Mad Mike ties? He told me they sell it at craft stores but i wanted to call em and see if they have it before driving into town for nothing, i live on top of a mountain. All I know is it is gold and someone posted a pic with some purple in there too. It has a white core that you remove tie in and then pic it out to form the body. Thanks
for permit/ bone flies: old school is aunt lydia’s carpet yarn, new and more improved is ep fibers tied in in small clumps perpendicular to shank… MM might use mylar tubing with cotton interior removed…

its a mylar tubing… they just call it “Metallic Cord”… I threw the label away so Im not sure about the manufacturer… But its back in the section with the ribbon and such…
