Firnally…a day off where I could go crabbing with my daddy yesterday! I was so happy…and couldn’t sleep as I was afraid I would oversleep! Left the house at 0400 to be there on time and rolled up in the yard at momma and daddy’s at 5. Daddy came out onto the porch all bleary eyed and told me he had fallen back asleep!![:0][:0]…say what??? My daddy is always up around 330 or 4! Had to laugh and quickly told him "you best not let that happen again ! Got to see our friend Charles thomas down at the boat ramp and talked to him for a few minutes before getting me a big hug and us leaving. Was absolutely a beautiful day. Saw my cousin chip going out with his shrimp boat. It seemed to just glide by us in the creek…it’s a pretty boat for sure! Here’s a few pictures from our day…

Yep…he is still there…but with all the manhadden and mullet buffets in the creeks now he is usually feeding and hasn’t as much time for us human folks…saw him for just a minute Monday but didnt get a pic…also saw a group of about 8 feeding on a point…those things can tear some water up for sure!
Flipper hangs with the others at times…but usually have seen him with only one…maybe his girlfriend? Lol.
He is minnowing mr easy…and likes it a lot…except for the drive to deliver to pawleys. Right now he is running fifteen minnow traps…I gave him a couple I had extra… Says he runs them twice but has to work them close to do so so will add some more eventually . It’s making more for him then crabbing is

“Guess that’s one of the things I love about my daddy…he just keeps going at his own steady pace no matter what life throws his way…says getting upset won’t fix anything…so that’s all you can do…keep going and hope it gets better.”
