When do the crappie usually bed in Lake Marion?
Black crappie will spawn first, usually in march. The white will move in after.
With the weather this year, everything will probably be a little later until the water temp gets right.
FYI, there is a crappie masters tournament on Marion Saturday out of John C Lund III landing. Going to be tough fishing with this cold front coming in this week, but some big fish should be weighed in.
