tried bouncing around a general area ive seen tons of crappie come out of before but i only got a single 13". they hittin much yet or still a week or 2 off?
caught a couple last sunday afternoon, in a place i’ve never fished before though. i’m guessing the water temp is still pretty cool, but should be rising soon.
I got a report of crappie going crazy on minnows in the GCR last week and this week. They got 22 big eating size ones and many more smaller ones. They kept a few for supper and let the rest live on. It’s getting hot!

They are biting. Caught a solid stringer yesterday. Minnows on aberdeen hooks, 2’ under a slip cork. Try stumpfields in Moultrie.
