Looking to do some crappie fishing. Anybody doing in good or tried it lately? I boated a 3lber in GA new years week and haven’t had the chance since.

I was doing pretty good fishing deep brush until the water got muddy. All I have been doing the last 3 weeks is putting more brush piles out.
Should turn on as soon as the water clears and starts to warm up.

What lake you fishing blackhawk? I have 30 bundles of brush in my yard I'm putting out Saturday. I haven't been since November.

Bob I fish both lakes. I fish the lower lake mostly during the winter and the upper lake mostly during the spring.

I only fish the upper lake. I live on Eutaw Creek just down from Bells Marina.

I fish out of cat head a lot. Fished that area of the lake all of my life.
