my dad and 5 brave souls fished out towards 226 in the 4-7 ft seas today. Pretty rough stuff for a 30ft center console. After worrying if they would make it back they finally showed up at the dock at 715pm. They were all exhausted but in good spirits. They finished the day with 9 dolphin (2 were 30 lbs +)and 1 skipjack. Most of the fish came in 250 to 350ft. Will be back out there Sunday.
More likly, “5 stupied souls”. I’m just saying.

If you can’t stand behind our soldiers, try standing in front of them.
You guys would be suprised what type of seas a boat could float in. I seem to remember a 26’ proline that was bailed out of in seas much larger than that 3-4 years ago. The boat floated around by itself in a squall for 3 days and was somehow recovered. 5-7’ seas really isn’t that dangerous for a 30’ boat. Comfortable? Probably not, dangerous, no… Just because you FEEL unsafe doesn’t always mean that you are… But gut feeling is usually a good indicator of operator experience.
They’re just jealous they had to work…
Or didnt have the balls to try it themselves!! Me Included:smiley:

Lets cross some Eyes.
It depends on how long its been since you caught a fish… last charter from this past season we had 6 to 8 foot chop… I was a little sore the next couple days but the crew had fun lol. I didn’t have the chance to reel many in last season I’m ready to get bent!
