Been fishing shallow creeks in a kayak, incoming tide. Lots of bait, juvenile shrimp popping are a reliable fish finder. Little blue fish all over. Finding some trout in 3’+, reds mostly shallower. Legal trout, some over slot reds. Mud minnows under a cork most reliable. Have done ok with paddle tails too. This one mighta tipped me over if had tried to haul it in.

I watched a big redfish pull my son upstream in a kayak. Could you imagine out in the ocean and brining in a big Dolphin or other big rascal you see on some of the youtube videos out there?

Those big reds are a blast in a kayak. I got pulled all over Conch Creek a few years back by a 30"+ red.
