Got out yesterday and fished the incoming and falling. Water was moving pretty quick and high tide fishing was very slow. Had a pretty cool moment where we were fishing and there was a definitive wall of rain about 50 yards from the boat, yet we were fishing in the sun. Wind really picked up around 2 p.m. and made fishing a little difficult. Fished a couple banks on the falling and the bite turned on big time. Ended up with almost 30 reds, 8 flounder and a handful of trout between the two of us. Biggest red was 30" and biggest trout was 20". All fish caught on Zman TRD, TRD minnow and trout eye jig heads. All fish released, reds were all tagged before release.
bangstick,
That’s actually my H20B. I love it, think we chatted a while ago about Xpress boats? Sometimes wish it had the 150 on the back, but I get 41mph and still pretty good fuel economy!

Yes, we have. I get 41-42 out of mine as well. Holds that regardless if it’s just me or if I have someone with me. Now if I have 3 people, it drops to 39-40. I used to think about re-powering to the 150hp but I’m not racing anyone and the hole shot is ridiculous and the fuel economy is insanely good as well so I think I’m over that now. I love my H20B. It handles rough water great and yet it gets plenty skinny. Plus, with it being aluminum, I don’t freak out when I drift over some oyster and they scrape the bottom and I don’t have to worry about it if I decided to beach it back in a creek to do some wading. Yeah, I’m definitely a fan. Lol!!
