crew

This may be internet fishing forum suicide but throwing it out there

Moved to Charleston from cape cod where i did a lot of fishing offshore.
Canyons, bluefin, commercial bass
I bought a flats boat but it just isnt my thing so im in the market for an offshore boat.

Until I get one I was wondering if anyone would ever need an extra hand. I can throw down for fuel and I have some gear.

If anyone is familiar with the cape I fished the Castafari for 5 solid seasons. Commercial bass and mated for hairball charters. and did hired gun and freelance work here and there.

Now I work on an oil rig in the gulf and have a 3 week on 3 week off schedule and would love to do some offshore fishing this season.

Keep an eye on the match-up forum under the services tab at the top of the screen when you are off. There should definitely be some guys looking once the weather calms down and the fish show up in force.

thank you for pointing that out i would have never found it in there.

Is there any yellowfin fishing around or is it spotty at best?

Yellowfin fishing is less than spotty. It was good 8-9 years ago, but theory is they are swimming north on the other side of the gulfstream. Don’t think a half dozen, if that, have been caught here in the last few years.

Otherwise, I’m always looking for crew, especially mid-week. PM sent.
