Left my dock at 9 am back at 12.Had fresh crabs and Haddrells frozen mullet to use on Reds today.Arrived at the spot and power Poled in.Saw some small pushes and thought OK they are here.! hour later nothing going on.Sitting in the cold was getting to me.Moved around and still nothing to see.More cold now feet are catching hell.Hand warmers out and working great.Joey is cold and Frank is not saying a word bundled up like an Eskimo. The hot Coco is almost gone,no fish, cold as hell and i say UNCLE.Water temp was 48 in all the spots.Back at 12 sharp. On the way in right in front of my dock i swear a flipper is running reds.I look at the guys and they just laugh.I left Bones and His wife fishing and wish them luck. I am so happy I have a boat lift.It is up on a lift and will be on the lift until it gets warmer.
Same Here! Buddy and I left Hobcaw creek around 9 and did the Beresford creek tour. In the Clouter creek side @ 9:30 and scouted/fished out past the barge into the Wando til 2ish hitting everything in between. If we’d have been duck hunting it would have been a great day… not only did we not see any fish pushing we didn’t see the first sign of anything fish would eat. Our water temp read 43 all day until we hit the Wando then 45! Back at the dock by 3 and caught notta but frost bite & pneumonia!!!

I will try if it is at least 58 degrees out.

Stonoman, maybe Bones mentioned a friend from De that is planning to come down. That’s me. I`m sorry to hear the catching is so poor. I was really looking forward to the trip. Maybe it can happen later when the water temp gets better.
