Clem; Just do a search for venison cube steak recipes and you’ll get a plethora of recipes:smiley: Take your pick[:0]

Fried in lard, take out, make gravy, put back in said gravy.

salt, pepper, garlic powder and smear both sides with spicy mustard. Bread in half Bisquick and corn meal. Deep Fry. Then cut up some potatoes or sweet potatoes and deep fry them too!

The Gravy thing like Salty said is hard to beat too! That needs dirty mashed potatoes to go with it.

IF you decide to grill it will only take a very short time and will over cook quick if left unattended.

I love fried cube steak and milk gravy but if you got a bunch its good to have another way. this is another delicious way we have done it. Didnt read it so it may be a bit different than how we have done it but same idea.

I lay out a large piece of brown baper (large paper grocery bag ripped open), lay out the cube steak, add salt, pepper, garlic powder and worchester sauce, roll up paper with steak inside and put on ice in cooler for a few hours. Slice up a few large yellow onions, drop cube steak in a bag filled with house of autry spicy seafood breader, drop in hot grease with a handful of onion slices, fry until golden brown and enjoy!!

A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.

Marinate it in a mix of (this is for a single portion) 1/2 cup Italian dressing, 1 tablespoon of either sesame oil or teriyaki
sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 1/4 teaspoon of Dales. Let marinate overnight then before you put it on the grill sprinkle
both sides with garlic salt and pepper. Remember don’t over cook it. It will only take 5 to 10 minutes on each side. You want it
cooked but not dry. I had a lot of my deer cut in sliced stakes and I just cube them myself with a kitchen mallet.
