I have an Eagle Cuda 242 fish finder, It was working fine until one of the power pins in the multiple connector corroded (badly). It will not power up now.
The unit and the transducer seem to be fine. Does anyone know of a source for a new or used connector or cable for it?
had the same problem back in the day with the same unit. ebay and you’ll have to get the whole new transducer and all. cost me like 50bucks. just make sure you ask plenty of questions or get a pick of the end. eagle is a branch of lowrance, so you will find many of them under lowrance transducers but gotta make sure its the right one. people will tell you it will fit anything you have…lol…

Sorry it took so long to get back with you. Mine is a Raytheon L365. I have everything for it, if u can determine it’ll work for you just let me know. You can have it. I don’t know why I was thinking it was an Eagle.

Jason and Murry, Thanks for your replies. I guess I knew I would need to replace the transducer to get the connector. The connector has 6 pins and is flat on one side. The battery and transducer use the same connector. In a Google search it looks like the Raytheon L365 uses separate connectors, so that will not work.
The Eagle Cuda 242 is only $70 at WalMart. As a last resort I might go that way. I have time , winter … to look for a better small boat unit. I can barely see anything on the screen; it is so small, and on a bright day, forget it.
I am open for recommendations.

I took a Eagle unit off of my jonboat recently. If it looks like it will work for you, you can have it.
OK, Found the old unit out of my jon boat and it is a CUDA242
