I’m planning to buy another kayak for inshore and was considering the Jackson Cuda HD or Wilderness Systems Radar 135. Does anyone have experience with them and care to share?
Thanks!

I had a regular Cuda 14 - I think the Cuda HD just has some extra bells and whistles beyond the standard package. It is a good kayak…the highest seat setting can take a little getting used to, as it will make the kayak much more unstable, and I could never stand in the Cuda comfortably. Besides those two things, it was a good paddling kayak. Your results may vary - I would try to demo one before you purchase!
I don’t have any experience with the Radar…

I really liked the Cuda HD but couldn’t get past the weight… I fly fish and have to load on top of a large suv. I went with the cruise angler series. The cruise is almost half the price of the Cuda HD.

Thanks for the replies. The HD appears to be a little wider too. I’m planning on getting out there and trying them, just seeing if anyone else has had experience.
