Curious

This is my first year shrimping and I’ve done well both in the harbor and in bulls bay. I haven’t heard a lot of talk elsewhere. I’ve seen some areas that look good around stono inlet and around folly. Anyone ever had luck in these areas or in the creeks?

If you ain’t the lead dog then the scenery never changes

I have heard of guys shrimping off the docks across from the folly ramp and doing well. They told me they throw out bait balls and throw nets and get a half cooler a few times a season. AGAIN that is that is what I was told.

Me and a buddy went out 10/15 with plans of baiting in the Harbor. We got down to Wappoo Cut Boat Ramp and it looked like a bouncy house with the tidal currents ripping. We decided to head elsewhere because my boat is smaller around 16’. We dropped poles in Folly Creek. Threw back small shrimp. Ended up with a little white still showing on the floor of the cooler after 8-10 runs. Had a lot of fun but hope for more shrimp next time.
