Should be asking if any of the local shops have availability. The good ones are always packed with long lead times.
Maybe presenting a challenge will entice someone for a pet project.
Actually looking to get into custom fiberglass work as a side job. Currently work at scout boats as a plug builder and have to experience to do just about anything.

Can you furnish sample work and past custermers?
Can you afford to quit your job and do this full time?
Now would be a good time to open a new shop!

If I didnt have a family, i would entertain the option of leasing a shop and starting something but gotta have a steady cash flow and insurance. Looking to do small projects in the garage for now. But maybe one day can grow. Thanks for the input
