that guy deserves to catch a gaff where the sun don’t shine. the guy flipping out that is. that was a paying customer. i would not leave him a tip or pay for the rest of the trip

Ignorant mate actually lost the fish, not the client in the chair. Notice when he kicked the guy out of the chair and let slack out of the line by not reeling. Client just backed off the drag. Listen to the clicker, watch the rod tip, then watch the belly in the line and the rod tip go slack while the mate is yelling and just holding the rod and not keeping tension on the fish. He deserves a gaff thru the eye, the customer is always right, it is part of the learning experience for them, nobody starts off a pro-fisherman. i can’t tell you how many times I have had a client hit the lever drag and backlash a spool, or wind all the line on the reel into a big clump, both are the mates fault.
