hehehe…Not really. But I did tag along with cutmullet, his brother and nephew out of Bushy Park today in the yaks. Bite was slow for the first couple of hours on the falling tide with a couple of small trout and 1 flounder caught. Then mullet’s brother found a hole with a few biguns’ holed up in it and the little jr. fisherman showed no mercy on the biggest one of the day. Tide starting rolling back in and cutmullet and myself sat in one spot and caught and released about 10 more spot tails all within a 18"-25" range and a few break-offs on some big ones.
Man those spot tails are pretty out of the creeks…dark red and copper color. Good, HOT day of fishing
Thanks Willy,
Cutmullet normally has a hard time paddling 3 yaks at once so Im ok on boats…unless he starts charging rent.
Seriously though, I may look into one of these things some day. Everytime I go out in one the more I like it.
I see ya’ll were playin with Ron’s pet redfish again Nice fish! Seattle isn;t too bad… I might be able to get out after some steelhead while I am here… I’ll keep ya posted. Don’t catch up all the reds before I get back!
