“Scout” Cobia are being caught. Water Temp is 67, at 68 - 70 degrees they really start coming into the River.

They have been catching them… Several in the 50-60 lb range, and some snakes too.

He will be unable to join us… Has to work… Job Security is important you know.
That being said, I plan on being at the Bi-Lo Parking Lot, on Parris Island Gateway (Next to McDonald’s, just outside the Parris Island Gate) at 0530 Saturday morning…to meet anyone who wants to participate.
Plans are to meet up and convoy to Elliot’s Beach Captain’s Landing at 0600. Bring Proof of Insurance, Drivers License and Vehicle Registration, so we can get you onto Parris Island and to the launch site. If we can team up with multiple yaks to vehicles, we can expedite the process…
There will be no Frogmore Stew at this event, too late to get organized on such short notice.
