Put in at Edisto Beach with Nauti-Dawg for a season opener at the Edisto Banks - lines in the water at sunrise - fished the same stretch of the ledge most of the morning - scattered weed and some flying fish and 71/72 degree water. Started getting hits around 7am. Around 9 we had a marlin cruise through the spread. By 1030 had 4 blackfin, 2 dolphin, and nice 60-lb range wahoo. Decided to head back at noon and beat the tournament crowd at the marina. Beautiful day - decent ride on the way out and even better on the way back. Odd thing we saw large flying fish in 40’ of water in sight of land heading in.
Today, every fish bit lead-head skirt bally-rigs behind “flutter-bird” teasers.
It was a great day fishing with the P-Man on Daddys Girl really enjoyed fishing with you. The stud wahoo was a day maker had to cut some off just to get him to fit in the fish box. Great way to start the season.
I sold my boat this year and hooked up with the P-Man on the fishing match up section here on Chas. Fishing thanks for taking a chance on me P-Man look forward to doing it again.
