I got my truck plowed into from behind and had to go to the ER, my neck, back, and everything else got screwed up sorry if i didnt think about telling you. I am on a lot of pain med’s.

I can verify his injuries, luckily it was not more serious considering the airbag did not deploy.
Victory remember this matchup works both ways. People considering matching up with you might be more reluctant.
My apologies to Daniel for any additional pain. He sent me an 8am text about missing and mentioned none of this.
In the future I’ll stick to being thankful for the positives of meeting two new friends and having a great and safe day on the water. I can only wish it was the same for Daniel and that he has a quick and speedy recovery.

There’s no way Victory could have known that. He obviously was pissed, like any of us would be, for a no show with no phone call. It’s happened to me plenty of times on early fishing days and the culprit 99% of the time is the individual who goes to bed way too late the night before. I can see why he’d be frustrated.
Yes, things suck for Daniel, but there’s no reason to be upset with Victory.
I would have felt and probably done the same thing.

Victory I do not think I will be fishing for a while, but you seem like a good person and I can understand why you were pissed. Hopefully we can go fishing in a few weeks and laugh about all this. I think we can agree that fishing is more important that holding grudges. ■■■■ these pain killers are just too ■■■■ strong. I never was pissed - my intentions were to make others aware. Unfortunately, sometimes good intentions don’t matter when they bring pain into others lives. I agree, it would be great to get this topic removed. Not really sure how to do that. At the least, I would ask that no one else post a reply so that this thread can sink into obscurity.

I have been fortunate enough to fish with John. He and his son are very good people. Not to mention patient with the newcomers like myself. Trust me if he can put up with me walking around his boat with my thumb up my butt because I didn’t know what to do…he can deal with just about anything…
