Coming down 536-E, get off the Daniel Island exit. Follow down(River Landing Drive) to stop light, go through stop light and follow to the end. There should be a circle, where you can park the car and unload the kayak, then park the car in the parking area. Looking out at the Wando, you will see the dock straight ahead, and on the left you will see a little sandy area.
Here is a close up…

Had a great day… not a bad launch… hard sand beach and the current ain’t bad… the retards in the powerboats were but the wind and current were manageable…

Had a great time Ken, caught lots of fish.

My brother and I are hitting Bushy real early, you interested?

Yeah but two days in a row may be pushin it:wink::stuck_out_tongue:… I’ll have to take a break for a few days… With the 4th weekend coming up I may have a week day off… sounds like a prefect day to see if Krooz is up to some fishin??? maybe hit the park … I haven’t fished Spottail creek in a LONG while… I’d say good luck to ya but that’s like telling the Pope “bless you” :stuck_out_tongue::smiley: Tell Ron I said Hey!

Team Manchester pulled some slams today. Brother got a 19" spottail, trouts, and decent flounder at 18". I did a little better with 2 spottails at 18", 4 trout (1 on topwater), and 2 flounder. I didn’t measure my bigger flounder but feel sure it was bigger than his:smiley:
Plenty of fingers at the landing. Went way up both creeks looking for the big reds. We might have saw a few but no takers.

What was the water clarity like for you guys on the Wando on Saturday? It was pretty bad on the Stono Saturday and Sunday and I almost got shut out.
I would have liked to join you guys but I didn’t hear about your trip until I was heading out the door. Let me know if you go again and I will try to join you.

Jordon,

Wasnt too clear and most of the catches were off shrimp caught there.

I got skunked myself but a few bites so getting closer to being a catcher, heh.

Glad you didnt have a complete shutout on the Stono.

I don’t fear the Ocean, but it sure as hell has earned my respect!
