It’s a bit late from the date we actually went out, 1/12, but I figured I would still report. We went off a spot on DI, where we always catch something. My fishing report on the phone said it was going to be a good day, so why not. I tried out my new popping cork and my father in law fished the bottom. We were there for around 2 hours and didn’t get a single bite. Then we moved to Sullivan’s, even though I knew the surf had slowed down a bit. There was a ton of people out, but not catching a thing. Even though we struck out in our two best spots, it was still good to get out and not sit around at home.
