Dawg Due 6/13

The ride out was a little on the nose. Not too bad but I pushed us a little farther north to keep from going straight into the chop as some of the crew was “up late” Sat.

We found a nice line in about 500ft in the mid 300’s that was miles long. We had all the peanut dolphin we could handle by 8:00 AM. There were swarms of them behind the boat so we brought out the spinners. Lots of fun. Quite a contrast from last week when didn’t get out first knock down until around 10:15.

After that we went looking for bills. We got the hook up on a nice sail but it jumped off after a few minutes. Went back to the line on the way home and picked up two more nice gaffers. Also had a monster mystery bite that screamed off most of a 50 and disappeared. The leader was clean though.

I managed to survive a boat full of Gamecocks. I think they went easy on me after the comeback win yesterday. Congrats and thanks guys!!
