Dawg Due 7/26

Headed straight out and worked to the north today (first time I can remember doing that in about 3 years). Most action was mid day and came in the 200’s at about 250 feet. Released 4 sails and saw maybe… 12+ more. They were lazy and made you work for the bite but it was really cool to see them cruising along the swells behind the baits. All four were first timers, makes 7 in a row for us (8 if you count the drum Lil John put my 5 yr old son on behind Goat Wed). A nice wahoo from a 10 year old Kase Diehl and a slinger to go with dad Bill’s sail too. Finished up the day with incoming water balloons from the guys on Beautiful Day. Don’t worry we’ll be prepared next time. Wren, Lil John, and Cords worked hard as usual. Thanks guys!

great day…must be the famous diels from charlotte, nc…congrats to kase on his wahoo…

nice work. 10 sails between 2 boats (beautiful day being the second)…that’s good fishing.

Holy Moly Cap’n…you forgot the two most important crew members! Salty ex-ragboater / head chef…Ms. Cat Diehl and the Queen Dawg herself Ms. Margaret! The Dawg Due has NEVER eaten that well…with homemade egg mcmuffins @ 530am and 20 sammiches for the hungry crew?? Seeing those sails in the swells…you, Wren and Johnny feeding them baits and 30++ knots on the ride home was something this Charlotte crew will not soon forget! I’ll post my pics as soon as I can…get Ron and Cords to do the same! Go Dawgs, and see you back here ASAP.

dawg due, i heard you cut another boats line off saturday while they had a fish on…is that right?

That would be Mr. Cords Lucas having fun on the cockpit handheld. He is grounded for while and we’ll call him Grandpappy now. Had Cap looking all around for another boat, scratching his head for a few. Did catch a blue and sail on Sat.

children will play

Sounds like a good day. Do you do charters or is this a private boat?

too funny. Hey Dawg, do you know Sam White?
Congrats on the blue.

Know Sammy (Mayday) White well. He is a good man.

No charters Earl, but always open to friends who can help fill the tank.

love that, best trick in the book.

Hope Sammy does not have to call out “Mayday” too often when he is flying your plane!! His roommate troy was fishing with me last Sunday when we saw you north of the 380 and mentioned that you were Sam’s boss.

classic right there. too funny.

Nice!
