Day Shrimpin for the Pros

I always day shrimped when I use to go. Would cooler out in less than 2 hours by myself. Hit it almost 5 days a week, weekdays of course…got to be back at the hill for the weekend!

Fun times spent blowing my shoulder out! Retired from the sport now cause bulk prices are so low, curious if anyone else shrimps in the day light?

Benefits of day shrimping with a trolling motor (foot powered):

  1. No lights to fool with
  2. No beer drinking to slow ya down
  3. No driver (always seemed to be a problem with someone else driving)
  4. Only run 6 poles
  5. Plenty of shrimp
  6. Nobody out!

Muddy Bay last year too for all the same reasons Lil mentioned. Too many nuts out there on the weekends to try to do anything. And mix weekends with nights…fergetaboutit. Between rude, drunk, and non-sportsmen…it’s crazy.
