Dead and gone

Hey man you trying to step in on my turf.

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m talking about! A bidding war! I guess there is no honor amongst us? Iā€™m thinking some would pay for the good riddance

Anyone here a stone cutter? Like a version of the stone EF posted

Weā€™re making progress!

Donā€™t try dumping ashes from a plane unless you know what you are doing. At the funeral of one of my dadā€™s friends, the widow asked my cousin and me about dumping the departedā€™s ashes over his farm. Cousin was flying and I was in the right seat preparing to dump at the agreed time. We made a couple of low passes over the house at the appointer date/time. We did a 360 turn and came back low and slow. I pushed the door open and started to dump. Well I am not sure how much we got dumped and how much wound up on us and the inside of the plane. What a mess!

Like everything else, I have a pretty strong opinion about this too. Went through a SHORT mess with my Dad and Brother when my mom died(1997). 26 years without a mom has probably made me bitter on the world lol^#$$

Anyway, Dad said ā€œā€œa pine box and no vaultā€ā€ to which I replied ā€œā€œno wayā€ā€, and I won of course.

For me though, in my will to donate my body to science for frugal purposes, and for NO hassell to my wife, etc. No marker, no service, no instructions to my wife and family, just EASY on out, and over. No cremation fee, no funeral home, no newspaper announcement, just a FREE funeral for wife and family, why not, and doing a good deed in the end tooā€¦

I am signed in to the program but they have reasons for not accepting like traumatic auto accidents or disease to organs. I donā€™t want family left hanging on what to do if they reject your body. Itā€™s nice to prepare for all options so hopefully things go as smoothly as possible. I still think a self built wood box into a hole on your own property is my 1st choice but Iā€™m waiting on the specifics on how to proceed

Have you ever heard or seen what they do in New Orleans? Thatā€™s a hot time for sure!

I know where there is a old wood canoe. Iā€™ll probably get to float without too much trouble.
We could do a viking burial.

My solution wont cost you a plugged nickle

Everything has exception, go ahead and cover what to do if you are not accepted.

Quite simple, then you can have the plain box deal, or whatever.

Famous people have their bodies buried on their property fairly regularly(or used to anyway), Elvis and Lisa Marie(daughter) are both buried in Graceland in Memphis, NOT in a public cemetary.

I can also dual purpose it until needed, awesome!

Iā€™m gonna add rope handles to mine

Simplicity

1300.00
Pick up and 10 copies of. The death certificateā€¦
And most will need at least five or six
Mints and a free nice pen on the way outā€¦
Ooosā€¦On the way out for the person arranging ā€¦ not the person passing later on :grinning:

Real nice folks

And please please please

Have a will or trustā€¦ do it todayā€¦ not ā€œ tomorrowā€
Write down your accounts somewhere( banks ,insurance, etc)
Have a way to access your contacts a place to access passwords too.
Mend those bridgesā€¦
If thereā€™s something you want someone have ā€¦ put it I. Writingā€¦ or if you can do it nowā€¦ do it now. See the look of appreciation on their face.

Plan ahead
No one is promised tomorow.
