Can you please put another day between Saturday and Sunday? Especially this time of year. Theirs just not enough time to dove hunt, deer hunt, geese hunt and early teal, bass fish, or catch reds and trout, bottom fish offshore, and shrimp!. I can’t decide what to do. Throw in work and its impossible! If you can’t add another day, can we just get good weather please?
Amen
Go do all the other stuff, I’ll go do the offshore bottom fishing for you. No need to worry about that, just tell me who I’m riding with and I’ll take care of it for ya.

Yeah summer off must be nice huh north chucks. I worked 6 days a week this summer, and I work on Sundays. So come Saturday I pray for good weather!!
I wish I could call in sick, I may have left early or been late to school before because of fishing. I mean there’s bass ponds across the street
That is why I love 12 hour shift work ! I work 14 out of 28 days. Love fishing in the middle of the week. I have not fished on a weekend in 7 or 8 years…too many people on the weekends.
I work the same schedule right now cooper river man. I love it. Ill be going to straight dayshift at the end of Oct. Im sure im going to miss those long breaks. Although they are expensive.
It took me along time to learn, but I had to decide on just a couple of activities. You cant do them all.
I gave up duck hunting a long time ago, as fishing and hanging with friends/family on the boat took priority. Had to give up Golf, and I only target shoot in the winter when I don’t fish as much. I live near freshwater, if I still lived near the coast I would fish all winter. I used to work on restoring old cars, and that went away after the second kid.
Enjoy the time you have now. When you have kids, no amount of weekends will be enough to do what YOU want to do, it’ll be about them but you’ll enjoy every minute of it.
When I was young and working 6 days a week with zero responsibilities, I would fish early and then go in to work, or fish the evening or gig at night. Between working, drinking, and fishing I think I averaged 3 hours sleep a night. Esp. summer.
