I figured I’d start the new topic since it was at the last of the other topic. My question is: Why havent we heard about the bass boat driver in the accident. Was alcohol involved in the accident? Why did the Bass Boat driver stay in his boat? Did the woman recover from her injury? Most people care about the accident and and how the woman is doing. Why has the DNR been tight lipped about the cause?
I’m no expert but it could be that they don’t talk about an ongoing investigation.
I’d like to know the answers to those questions as well.
Yeah, I’ve kept up with the other deaths on Murray, and they have been quick to come to a conclusion. Your probably correct, they havent come to a finding yet. I guess it’s not a cut and dry, your fault, my fault thing.
We were talking about boat seats getting in the way of visibility. My front bass seat gets in the way, but I can remove the pedistal and lower it so I can see over it. Althought sometimes I dont. Driving at night does put an added need for alertness. One 4th of July, after the firework show, the radio station was encouraging people to drive very slow and respect others. There were thousands of boats on the lake. I drove back to the dam and we had no problems. We idled most of the way and had a great night.
There was also a lady diving a boat drunk several years ago around wessinger island I think and she ran over a dad fishing with his boy and it killed the kid. I think all she got was probation.
