Debby, The Storm

Live on the streets

Not exactly at Edisto Island, but, you can watch the Charleston Harbor tide station data here - Water Levels - NOAA Tides & Currents

Shows water levels running just about 1ft above predicted tides. Luckily, this storm is hitting on a string of 5ft high tides. We can get a couple of feet on top of that and still be in the normal range.

All this water ought to get them redbreast up in the woods and fattening up.Haha

They had all downtown pathways blocked off today. The public can’t access public property because those in charge think we can’t handle it.

Big brother

I am at the State Emergency Ops Center. The concern here is that the storm sits over eastern NC like it did a few years ago, flooding the Lumber and Pee Dee rivers which results in flooding later in the Pee Dee region of SC. That created problems for a couple of weeks.

Yep
I agree with you 23
More government over reach
How do you feel about having to call in every deer you kill this year?

Not a whisper of drought anymore anywhere, so that’s a good thing

I’m debating on it.

The max fine is $25…

And it is absolutely ridiculous. It’s new laws like this that pop up every now and then that makes me ask myself, “What would my grandfather say about this?”

He wouldn’t tolerate. It’s a shame what we put up with today.

Parting shot since it took a third of my grapefruit tree, half a day, and all my energy… thanks Debby!
