Heading to Debordieu for the week tomorrow and taking the kayaks. I’ve never fished the creeks back there. Anyone have any suggestions on places within paddling distance and what to use? It looks like we’ll be fishing the falling tide all week during the morning.

Are there any areas where fishing is prohibited? I went out today from the landing and was paddling down the main out toward North Inlet. I saw some creeks and flats to my right and thought those might be good places to start, but I noticed a sign saying that area was a nature preserve. I cannot find anything or anyone that says there are any places around here that cannot be fished, but that sign sure made it look like that area was off limits. Can anyone offer input?
