Fished Sunday afternoon for about 4 hours under ideal conditions but had a hard time finding fish. Spent the majority of the time on the flats and saw only a couple of fish. Caught 2 trout and one red in deeper holes after the tide started moving. Guess the cold nights before had turned them off.
Monday was a different story. Went to different area of flats and it was on. Saw a few hundred fish and lost track of how many caught. Somewhere around 15. All were over 22" with the biggest around 32". Had the largest one on four pound line and had to pull up my stake-out pole and give chase. Awesome day. The school would move and push water around me like a pod of dolphins. Could not go today but am going tommorow in the boat.
