Decent day...

Hit the H20 on Thursday, with predictions of 15 mph winds and t-storms and clouds all day. Decided to go anyways, and hit my favorite river with a friend and his girlfriend. Fished the 2 hours before and after low tide at some docks. Fished with shrimp, mullet, and minnows. Set up the first rod with bait and within 2-3 minutes, ziiiiiiiing, and as fast as it started, it was over. Reset the bait and within another 2-3 minutes, FISH ON! Let the lady reel in a nice 30" fish. Forgot the net, so I had to bring it in by hand, also forgot the boga like an idiot.

Reset baits, and within another few minutes, ziiiiiiiiiiiing, fish on. Another 26"-27" redfish. Swam off with a quick revive, and we reset some baits. Wind started howling, but it was gorgeous and the sun was out. Hard to cast and keep lines tight though. Moved on to fish a few other spots, and put out some candy mullet, and lost 2-3 more fish on hookset, and a few straightned hooks. Finally another one on. Nice 19" trout. Great day so far. Lost one to leader snapping, probably from rubbing on the dock pilings, felt like a great fish. few more hits, few more spots, called it a day though.

Good day on the H20 with good people.

Good job, Kut. Best weay to catch fish is FORGET the net! LOL! Thanks for the report

Thanks guys. I always try to post a report, good or bad. Fish seem to be pretty agressive right now.
