Are you rigging just plain ballyhoo on them, skirted hoo or lures? I’m getting a couple to have in the arsenal just didn’t know exactly what you guys were fishing with down deep.

Use whatever you have, really. Most prefer a skirted ballyhoo when offshore…and a big fat skirt if you’re looking for a wahoo bite. I’ve also seen quite a bit of success dragging a big spoon behind the planer offshore.
I usually pull either a horse ballyhoo behind a sea witch or a drone spoon.

Thanks guys. Was on phone earlier with a guy and he said he exact same thing. If the Yozuri Bonitos don’t work tomorrow I may have to give this a try with some Capt Ed skirts on ballyhoo.

Purple black red black or blue white Ilander with ballyhoo. BigNic has some Ilander style lures for a good price.
