deep hole shrimping

I have a 7’ cast net that I would like to tape for deep hole shrimping.
gorilla tape comes in two widths: 1 7/8" and 2 7/8". The new nets that are much longer that have the tape built in- the tape is 2 3/4" wide. Any suggestions from someone that has taped a net.

I used regular duct tape on a 10’ net. It worked well but the duct tape is bulky after you tape both sides to hide the glue.
I finally just got a deep hole net. It throws easier. I would recommend the largest net you can throw.

[/URL]rned if your over a hole and the shrimp are in thick balls stacked up on drops your screen will look like this. Its not a malfunction haha
