Poked around south end Sunday. Hardly anything there. There weren’t many boats there either. Didn’t see the scrimps on the sonar like we’ve been seeing them. I’m wondering if the cooler water has sent a lot of them out to the ocean now. The water was a good bit cooler than last weekend.
The week after a full moon is usually the worse week of the cycle. Size and numbers usually drop after the full moon. The last hatch should still be around 2-3 more weeks
