Well I heeded fatrat’s experience today and took plenty of bug spray on the water to go fishing with my brother-in-law and wife. 30 minutes at the first spot provided us with 3 different applications and finally the wifus demanded that she be removed from this fishing trip so she could hit the beach. Dropped her off and found several trout cooperating at high tide in 5-9 foot of water. Then the tide turned and if the fish short strikes on our baits they would not resume the chase. Artificial on lead head and also under popping cork put them into our grasp.
