2300 acre club looking for members. The economy has made a big dent in our membership this year. We provide all corn and foodplots. There will be dove shoots this year for members as part of the membership. The power line ROW is planted in Corn and Sunflowers. We have just installed 12 new wooden tower stands and dried in the new bunk house. The membership is $1000 and all amenities are included. We are located just west of G’town on 521 towards Andrews. Members tell me they can be at the camp from Mt. P and Summerville in about and hour, or you can spend the night. We have some very nice bucks on this club. Interested, contact Randy…240-9424 or email thru this site.

Good club and convenient. I shot a 9pt last year (approximately 19" wide with good mass for the lowcountry)and a doe and only hunted about 5-7 times. I think mine was the 3rd biggest (biggest was a horse of an 8). Killed 4 turkeys in 5-6 hunts, so the game is there. Seems like every year we’re getting a little closer to all members having better trigger control and letting the young bucks walk. It’s starting to pay off now. With 3 young kids, a business, and heavy involvement in a local charity, my time in the woods is limited these days. My oldest is about to turn 7, so I have a new objective in future years to come. Would love to see a few more members with kids. Mine love the overnighters around the fire. So many fathers say they can’t fit it in their budget, but I’m sure in hindsight many will wish they did spend the money, get their kids in the woods more and worked a little less.

Mine’ll be able to join in in a couple of years. Might even take my oldest on an evening hunt or two when it cools off some. Glad I joined up over there, sort of like leaving the ghetto for a nice gated, manicured community where people give dern about the game. I also know why PC didn’t have a whole lot of big bucks last season, they went across the road. Looking forward to meeting all of the members soon.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

If I was in the market for a club this sounds great. My family is lookin for more of a bird club. Ducks, doves, quail, turkey. If anybody has leads? Not for this season though. Were training a bird dog so want to do more of that

Interested but dont have enough finances right now
Likewise Salty. How old are yours? My crumbcrunchers are 6, 4, and 2 (only girl, but I think she’ll be the biggest hunter of the bunch). My 6 year old is the least intersted in hunting and fishing. He’d rather hang out with the neighborhood kids and play video games (secret to keeping him in the stand for more than an hour). I hope he’ll change that, but I don’t want to force it. He’s been fishing, shrimping, and hunting since he was 6 mos.,so it’s nothing special to him. I regret making him cull shrimp and bi-catch as it made him look at it as work and not fun.
Maybe we can get all the kids out for a “camping trip”. That’s my green camper next to Randy’s. There’s plenty of extra spots if you have one you want to park out there. It’s nice having a place to stash your not too valuable gear.
Mine are 4 and almost 2. Both are into the guns, fishing, hunting and shooting. Sort of little clones of me. They’re probably a bit young to do the camping right now though. We’ve been down there shooting a couple of times. I’m making a frame to hange a gong off of to shoot some long range stuff on those middle roads. A couple of guys that came over from PC with me are into that too. Looking forward to climibing into one of those stands and sitting a spell. Ready to shoot a dove or 12 too.

Yakman I am looking for a bird oriented club as well. I am currently with out a pointing dog for the first time in 15 years and looking for a good German replacement to train.
Its all relative
It is a great club. Randy thanks for calling me the other day. I would love to join this year after being gone for the last 2 but the wife and I are looking for a house to purchase. Shrimp King you are always in the right place at the right time when hunting. Too bad shrimping is a different story. Good luck this year.

So you’ll be so busy looking for a house Looper you won’t have time to hunt? Good excuse. I’d rather be lucky than good any day.
Which road is the gong going on Salty? That’s a new one for Hammerhead.
Don’t know yet, we asked RK about somewhere to shoot long range and he said those middle roads. I’ll let him tell me exactly where when I get it done and down there, not going to step on anyone’s toes. Its getting too close to the season to be going in there now and shooting down roads a bunch though. Besides, I’m good out to 400 or so with my rigs now. Its what ya’ll get for letting in a couple of rednecks from PC, we like to shoot a lot.

Aint nothing wrong with that!
salty, I’m still stuck in the ghetto…if you see my hogs, send them back
Shrimp King we are saving our money for a down payment. Im living on the the far side of Charleston so looking for something closer. I dont have the pop-up or the fourwheeler so I cant justify driving that distance. If my boat sells I may be able to buy a cheep camper and join. Time will tell.

Hell, find those mud holes Mike. Or set up in the swamp by 5 where I had the climber last season. I’ll send them back if I see them but they’ll have a bullet in them already. Gimme a call, I’ll give you a tour so you can see the light.
