hey i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some hog hunting. i am new to SC and want to do some hog hunting. i do a lot of hunting in NJ.
sorry for the quick and to the point post, i should have introduced myself since i am new to the forum. i am a CofC student and have been living in SC for 4 years now. i have yet to go hunting in SC and was hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction. back home in NJ i work on a farm and would be more than willing to help anybody out in the charleston area who needs help with work.
you can hunt hogs in francis marion national forest. right now it’s small game, so you’re limited to a .22lr or shotgun with #2 shot or smaller. get yourself a rules regulations book and read it, a lot. go online and look at dnr.sc.gov, look at online maps, you can compare these with google maps or google earth to get a better idea of the land layout.
