Deli+ 5/25

NOAA SST showed the break at about 100 miles from the dock, headed our towards the Deli at 3 AM, passed several weed lines before we set a spread at a weed line + temp break + rip at about 800 ft, 95 miles from the dock. First fish hit in minutes, non stop action, could not get a full 6 line spread set until about 10 AM when things cooled down. Heated up again at 11:30, finished with a nice double at 12:45 and headed for home. Had a sail take a slash, thought it was a Mahi short strike so started reeling in to check bait and was treated to a sail free jumping 6 times just behind our spread. Dropped the line back but no deal. Finished with 16 Mahi in the box. Nice ride out and back, prefect day all around.

Thats a good report for us guys here in Charleston. I think that means we have at least 1 or 2 weeks decent mahi fishing ahead of us. We went out to 600 ft just short of the 226 hole and did well with some nice size mahi. Left them biting to get to my daughters graduation and back at the dock for 1pm.
Good job at the deli!
