Left Bohicket and headed south 70 miles to the Deli Ledge, started fishing in 200" in 68 degree water. Just got lines out when the left long 50 started screaming, after a challenge for our rookie crew landed a 70lb wahoo on a red and black sea witch.
That was it for the day, saw numerous hammerheads and ocean sun fish, some bait. Trolled out to 300 feet to a temp break to 75 degrees, but no fish.
Overall a great maiden voyage for our new sport fish - Glory Days!
We went to the deli on Friday and found a big weed line but no fish. Where did you find the 75 deg water? Congrats on the hoo!
It was in about 250’ three miles east of the deli ledge numbers on the maps unique chart.
