deli report 3/27

Skinnee…as promised to you. 3’ chop first 10 nm. Ocean turned out to be beautiful. Ran 70 miles to your first #(5nm. short of our original #). Little south of that we hit the rip we expected. Anywhere from 68 to 76 deg. Nice weed line that we worked south. Anyway, put two nice(30-40#) Wahoo in the box and three 20# dolphin on top.Pushed off to 1800’ and nothing. Pushed back to cold side of rip and nothing. All fish caught on warm side close to weeds. No stick fish, plenty of meat, and not bad 4.5 hrs. of fishing. Beautiful cobalt stream on warm side with awesome 6’ rollers @ 11-12" intervals with no chop. Thought the ride home might be cruddy closer to home but was maybe two feet. Perfect for the first trip of the year.

Nice report. Good way to start the season.
What size boat?

nice report- that’s a big temp break - glad to see fish were where they should be; warm side of rip w/ weeds/life. Can’t wait to make our fist trip of the year soon.

We’ve made the mistake of leaving fish to find fish, but have
vowed to try our best not to do it again…Grass is always greener, right…so tempting sometimes.

why do we do that?

i say we won’t do but i bet we will…:face_with_head_bandage:

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up and loudly proclaiming, “WOW! What a ride!”
