Fished deli and triple ledge yesterday. Wind and waves were very good to us with some rain and distant lightning on the way out. Left the dock at 3:15 and lines in at deli at 6 am, strike within minutes but did not hook up; later noticed a bent hook tip so guessing that was the cause. Trolled until about 9:30 and then picked up and motored to the Triple Ledge where we did OK last week. Hooked two small dolphin, had a double strike and lost both; one the swivel knot pulled out and the other the hook tip was bent. Two bent hook tips - time to change to a better drand of hook. No cuda’s like last week. On the way in stopped at R8 tower, hooked 5 cudas and then called it a day. Wide open throttle no the way in - a first for this year.
