Arrived at sunrise. Fished the pier for about 3 hours. 2 blue crab and a ray. Moved to the pond and fished it for 20 minutes. Got a good tip to try fishing the cliff. Moved our gear and got on the fish immediately! Hauled in a 15" red drum and a 16" trout. Had a few more get off. The cliff is difficult, lots of sharp unforgiving rocks. Lost a popper and a bottom rig.
Yep, seen many a red drum and trout/flounder pulled from that spot.
I should be out there this weekend.

Fished out there this morning, 2 trout 16 and 18", and a 29" redfish released.
I love that blue tail color this time of year.
