Went out there yesterday evening, they had some sort of machine pumping water/ oxygen into the pond. The attendee said a DNR crew used a boat and netted up many of the dead fish. Figured they would do that since they are done the road. Most likely caused by oxygen levels, pond is clear of fish but foamy up top. I guess it’ll be awhile before the giant reds return for Kebda to catch:)
Ha ha, whether I still fish at Demetre is nobody’s business. I learned my lesson trying to give tips to and help people on this board with their questions. I will from now on keep it to myself or share with people in person.
What kind of fish were in that pond?I stopped there one day& saw a large fish about 6 lbs. skip across the water.Looked to be a huge mullet or ladyfish! ( the bigger the bait,the bigger the fish)

I believe the pond has a pipe connecting it to the harbor so water flows in/out from the harbor. Most likely any kind of saltwater inshore fish, they have a display on the railings there with the usual inshore saltwater gamefish. I know someone (not Kebda) who has caught some decent sized reds out of there and someone on the other thread said reds were among the fish floating up top.
Kebda probably thinks some rogue cops tazed all the fish. Dang, where will he catch all those bull reds now?
