I spent many days at Sunrise Park crabbing, catching trout off the rocks, looking for sharkteef and making out after sneaking in “afterhours” to look at the stars.
Keep on catching fish Kevin, that’s what this whole forum is all about.
They also renamed the only high school on the island James Island Charter High School. You should start getting some signs printed up to put up and down Harborview Rd to alert people that it’s incorrect to call it James Island High School nowadays.
My dad has a sign shop and could probably help you out. Tell him I sent you.

No, I’m chatting with all the people reading the signs to the park and at the entrance of the park and calling it by its official name. Duh!
Wow, this is stupider than the whole Kebda thing, Rapchizzle the park is named Melton Peter Demetre Park, people from Ohio didnt come up with that name, the City of Charleston did after the man who donated the park, who is a lifelong Charlestonian. Those signs were not put up by people who’s dad own a sign store, but by the city of Charleston. Come on now, this is getting down to Kebda’s ignorance.

Wow, came up with this after searching on Google, Mr. Demetre was recently presented a resolution by the SC Legislature for his donation of the park. Means he is still living.
