I have garmin 740s with a airmar b60 transducer. It is not reading the bottom correctly. It shows nothing but flat bottom (my friends machine shows all kinds of bumps and holes)
I checked set up 200 hertz , depth = auto, scale = auto , range = auto , what else should I check?
Thank for any ideas offered
I had a Garmin that started acting funky while down in Steinhatchee, Fl. The folks at Sea Hag marina let me try a new transducer (I just plugged it in and held it over the side). Worked like a champ. I had never seen a transducer go bad before.
