This may be somewhat off topic, but am finally gonna pull the trigger on a trip to Destin, Fl in September this year. Could sure use some help with places to stay/realtors for 2 couples. Planning to take a couple of guided trips(could use some help with this also) and possibly surf fishing. Has to be girl friendly for the wives…any help would REALLY be appreciated…thanks in advance…
Check out VRBO or Homeaway. We’ve used both for years and have never been unhappy with our rental. We’re going to Bokeelia, Fl next week and found the house we’re renting on VRBO.

I’ve used VRBO or Homeaway for years also. Heading to Panama City Beach in a couple week and that who I am renting from. Always been happy with the accommodations.

We were there w/ two couples just 2 weeks ago. Stayed in Sandestin. Rented through VRBO #393000. It was a great place to stay. The wives liked it very well. Lots to do in and around the resort. Standard stuff. Shopping & dining. Beach at Sandestin is croweded but you can walk just to the east and be in the Tops’l state preserve land.
We fished inshore in my boat 4 days and caught redfish, trout etc. We launched at Hogtown Bayou which has a good ramp and nice park. Several guides were launching there and meeting their clients. I talked to a couple and would recommend them based on the short conversations that we had.
I talked longer to Shane Johnson of https://southernrenegadecharters.com/ and will plan to go with him next time I’m down there.
I also talked to they guy from 30A guide service https://www.30aguideservice.com/ but only for a short time b/c his clients arrived and he left w/ them. He seemed personable and knowledgeable.
