Left real early 0300 from the GT marina, guess i’ve been a little too motivated to get out there. My crew of six fell apart and i left with my son the only one on board. Hit the hole at 0530 before the sun was even up. woke my son up and set em out, Trolled that area for two hrs for notta, other boats started to show up troll around and leave. Hmmmm
Move out to deeper water towards the bubble rock and found a weed line that mostly wore us out pulling crap off our lines. finaly a nice dolphin puts on a good fight and jumping show for my son.His first Mahi over 20# so he is pumped. 0900 I shouda slept in 
Anyway we moved even farther out around the rock water temp up around 76 and picked at em the rest of the day. 5 more good ones and a slinger. stopped by the hole on the way in and got two black fins for shushi. ran 10 mi closer to hill and Dropped on Santee hoping for a grouper but limited on pinks and called it a day. Rough sea coming home, cleaned the boat and fish got home about the same time we had left the night before. All in all a very quality 24hrs with my 18yr old son… may not be to many of those left as his life becomes his own. Bummed i forgot the camera.
Ha, you almost left as early as I do.

but thats early for me left the house a little after midnight no way my wife will go that early :)I know your a night owl i shouda called ya.
She stayed home but so did evrybody else who said they were going.
Would have been sporty for the key west on sunday. Bouncy confused short interval 2-3ftrs burns extra of gas chugging thru.
We had a good time however.

thanks. we saw you at one point, but not sure which point in the day that was. It was either just below the hole around 1030 or south of the hole around 1330. congrats on the fish.
